Dr. Sharma founded Green Boom after earning his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech after he found a way to prevent oil from the spill sites from being moved to landfills or as he puts it, "solving one problem by creating another." Dr. Sharma is very familiar with developing greener and sustainable alternatives for the industry as a whole. Green Boom is the only no trace no waste line of oil-only absorbents suitable for large spill response, industrial and transportation MRO and safety spill kits and recently earned its EPA certification.
